Alta Badia

Alta Badia is a renowned ski area located in the heart of the Dolomites, in the South Tyrol region of Italy. It offers breathtaking alpine scenery, excellent snow conditions, and a variety of terrain suitable for skiers of all levels. 

The resort is part of the Dolomiti Superski area, one of the largest ski regions in the world, which provides access to over 1,200 kilometers of interconnected slopes.

Colfosco is a quiet village, a place to induge in peace and quiet, relax in a Half-board or Full board hotel at the end of the day. Corvara a slightly busier town, offering more opportunity to walk about town and stay out for an apres pint. These both connect directly to the Sella Ronda circuit. 

San Cassiano and La Villa sit back in a seperate valley, connected to the shared ski area of Corova from the backside - both excellent options to ski the Sella Ronda without being located directly on the circuit and its well known towns. 

When it comes to the après-ski scene, Alta Badia offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. There are numerous mountain huts and restaurants scattered across the slopes, where skiers can indulge in delicious local cuisine and enjoy stunning panoramic views. 

The region is known for its excellent food and wine, with several Michelin-starred restaurants in the area. After a day on the slopes, visitors can unwind in cozy bars and lounges, savoring a glass of local wine or a hot drink by the fireplace. This isn't somewhere to head for crazy parties. 

Alta Badia is suitable for a wide range of skiers. It offers a good mix of gentle slopes for beginners and more challenging terrain for advanced skiers. The resort is particularly popular among intermediate skiers who can explore the extensive network of blue and red runs. 

This is not an area for those who enjoy big mountain skiing with long runs - this a scenery and vibe first area.
