Description
Mondolè Ski is located in the province of Cuneo, Italy, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Maritime Alps. This is as far south in Italy as you're going to get a substantial ski resort.
There's 4 key access points, all small towns: Frabosa soprana, Prato Nevoso, Artesina & Rastello.
Prato Nevoso is the largest of the 4 towns in the Mondolè Ski area, therefore having the widest options for accomodation and apres.
Artesina is known for its sunny climate and its beautiful scenery. It's the next biggest town and is probably the one with the easiest access to the majority of the skiing. The direct ski area is unique in that it has a lot of "ungroomed" routes for freeride from the top of the bowl at both sides.
Frabosa Sopranais the highest of the 4 towns in the Mondolè Ski area, and it is known for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains, and it also has a lively après-ski scene.
Rastello is a small village located on the perifery of the ski area, it requires several chair lifts to get to the core area over in Artesina.
