Kitzbühel

The Hahnenkamm downhill race, one of the most famous ski races in the world, takes place here and you can ski it! Good luck 

Kirchberg 

Located just a few kilometers from Kitzbühel, Kirchberg is a lively and vibrant town with a more relaxed atmosphere. It offers a good balance of skiing and après-ski activities. Kirchberg has a diverse range of accommodations, including hotels, guesthouses, and apartments. 

The ski slopes in Kirchberg are suitable for all abilities, with gentle nursery slopes for beginners and more challenging runs for intermediate and advanced skiers. The après-ski scene in Kirchberg is lively, with numerous bars, pubs, and restaurants where skiers gather to socialize and enjoy live music. Want a more relaxed time? Consider one of the other towns on the area. 

Jochberg 

Situated on the outskirts of Kitzbühel, Jochberg is a peaceful and picturesque village. It offers a tranquil alpine setting and a more laid-back skiing experience. Jochberg is an ideal destination for families and those seeking a quieter atmosphere. 

The ski slopes in Jochberg are connected to both the Kitzhulbel and kirchburg area, and the Mittersill/Pass Thurn area, sitting right in the middle of them. The area is divided here by the 3S Bahn Gondola, either this or a free-ride route connects you to the otherside. A great location to base yourself for full access to the whole area. 

Mittersill & Pass Thurn 

Located on the outskirts of the KitzSki ski area, Mittersill is a charming town surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. It provides access to the Panoramabahn Kitzbüheler Alpen lift, connecting it to the wider ski area. Mittersill offers a range of accommodations, including hotels and guesthouses. 

The ski slopes in Mittersill are diverse, with options for all abilities, including family-friendly areas and challenging off-piste routes. 

The après-ski scene in Mittersill is quieter compared to the larger towns, with a focus on relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings.

The low altitude means beginners areas on the valley floor suffer - the best best to learn is the Kitzbüheler Horn. 

Advanced skiers can enjoy the Steinbergkogel black run collection, and on powder days the freeride ski "routes" dotted around the area.

Apres Ski

The après-ski scene in the KitzSki area is vibrant and varied. In Kitzbühel and Kirchberg, skiers can enjoy bustling bars, stylish lounges, and lively nightclubs. The centre in the old town retains a great atmosphere well into the night.
