The Montafon Brandnertal

The Montafon Brandnertal Ski Resort, located in the Montafon Valley in Vorarlberg, Austria, offers a diverse skiing experience with a rich history and a vibrant après-ski scene. 

The area is a combination of the neighboring ski areas of Silvertta Montafon, Golm and Brandnertal, providing visitors with a combined ski terrain and a wide range of amenities. It sits right at the Western tip of Austria near the boarder with Liechtenstein and Switzerland. 

The Montafon Brandnertal Ski area is renowned for its natural beauty and picturesque alpine villages. The Montafon Valley has a long-standing tradition as a ski destination, with some of its villages dating back to the Middle Ages.

The ski km are seperated into 4 distinct areas which can be accessed by ski bus, but will obviously be easiest by car, but the key towns of Schruns, St. Anton im Montafon and Bludenz are also on a train line. 

Schruns is the largest town in the Montafon valley and the main hub for the ski area. It is a lively town with a wide range of amenities, including restaurants, bars, shops, and hotels. 

St. Anton im Montafon is a smaller town located in the Montafon valley. It is a quieter town with a more traditional Alpine feel. St. Anton is a great choice for skiers and snowboarders who are looking for a more relaxed ski vacation. The town is also home to some of the best off-piste skiing in the area. 

Bludenz is the capital of the Vorarlberg region and is located at the southern end of the Montafon valley. Bludenz is a great choice for skiers and snowboarders who are looking for a more urban ski vacation. The town is home to a number of museums, art galleries, and restaurants. Bludenz is also a great base for exploring the surrounding mountains.
